Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate, Return (TNVR)

If you’re caring for or concerned about outdoor cats, we’re here to help.

TNVR is a humane, non-lethal way to manage community cat populations.

Community (unowned, outdoor) cats are part of every neighborhood. Without intervention, unaltered cats can reproduce rapidly, leading to overpopulation and hardship for both animals and people. TNVR stabilizes populations, improves health, and lets cats live safely in the environment they know.

As part of our TNVR program, community cats are humanely trapped, sterilized, ear-tipped, and returned to their outdoor locations. A rabies vaccination is also administered.

These services are offered at no cost, but they are ONLY for cats that are truly unowned and unsocialized, often called “feral” cats. Owned, outdoor cats do not qualify and are subject to our standard spay/neuter fees.

All TNVR cats require an appointment. Our clinic’s capacity is limited and appointments are made on a first-come, first-served basis, based on availability. If we are unable to schedule you right away, you may be placed on a waitlist or contacted when additional appointments become available.
