What is required to adopt?
- Adopters must be 18 years old with a valid I.D.
- All potential adopters must submit an adoption application, become acquainted with the animal in person, and talk with an adoption counselor.
- If you rent your home or apartment, we may contact your landlord.
- We reserve the right to ask for personal references or perform a home check before approving the adoption application.
